I went to my local Deseret Industries today and was so excited with all the holiday decor items they had! They have a seasonal section that they will fill with everything for the upcoming holiday!! They had lots of  Christmas tree ornaments, stockings, table runners, holiday party items, Christmas trays and tins. Out in the yard area they had artificial Christmas trees! most of them already had Christmas lights on them. You can see my Facebook video—>HERE to see me talking about the items i am about to share with you!! As I looked through the items that were available i found that there was a lot of things that were gold, Aqua blue, white, and silver. I started to round things up and ended up with so many cute items that were brand new even!! These items had never been used and had been donated in perfect conditionBrand new and gently used Christmas decor items found at the local Deseret industries to see more about how these items were used visit sugarcoatedhousewife.com

After I found all the Ornaments, I went to the yard area and found this darling little Christmas tree. It already had the Christmas lights and even a few extra ornaments and a little tree skirt left on it for only $10.00.

It was so much fun to put all my finds together and create something beautiful!! I was completely amazed how cute the final product ended up!! When i was at Deseret Industries and found these items, I had thought it would be a fun idea to make up this tree and take it to a retirement home and give it to someone that could use some extra Christmas cheer. When i got home from my shopping trip I called the local assisted living home, where my husbands grandmother used to live. I asked them if they had someone that would enjoy a visit and some extra holiday cheer? the lady replied back to me and said, ” I know the perfect person that would really benefit from having some visitors!” I was so excited!! I set up an appointment and my family will be taking this beautiful tree to a sweet little lady that is 101 years old!! The worker told me that this particular resident has been suffering from hearing and vision loss and has chosen to not really participate in a lot of the activities that they have at the home. She said that she really enjoys music and will usually join them for events like that. It’s so fun to know that she loves music, this tree has some cute music note ornaments on it. It is perfect for her!!  Brand new and gently used Christmas decor items found at the local Deseret industries to see more about how these items were used visit sugarcoatedhousewife.com
