St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner! I went to several stores and I couldn’t find anything that wasn’t borderline cheesy. I wanted something that gave that pot of gold feeling but was more on the sophisticated side. Cricut Design space has sooo many fun St. Patrick’s day designs. Using an image I found there and tweaking it a little, I made this cute wreath! Check out this tutorial on how to use your Cricut Knife Blade to cut Heavy Chipboard and adhesive foil to create this fun St. Patricks Day wreath.
Create a custom Valentine for your littles that their friends are sure to love!! I found these cute little heart slime’s at Target. They were in the Valentine area. Each bag came with 16 heart slimes for only $3. Awesome right!
The card is created at 2.5 x 3.5 Using the slice method, I cut out the heart shape so that I could slide the slime hearts onto the card.
How to use the slice method:
Place image that you want cut out onto your card. Select both images, right click and select slice. Drag the cut shapes away and you will be able to see the hole is now cut out.
Add your font, Change the fill at the top of your screen to print. This changes the font so it will now be printed instead of cut. Continue to do this to all fonts. when you are done and the font is where you want it on your card, select all by dragging your mouse over the card. Right click and select attach. Then right click and select flatten. Both of these steps are necessary for your print then cut to work.
You will see the outline has disappeared when you have flattened your image.
Click Create. If you need more then one, add copies at the top. Print your image. UNCHECK the bleed and select the copies you need printed.
Place on mat and cut images out
*TIP!!!! Turn your mat over, and bend the mat back off the paper to keep the paper from curving!
Slide your slime in and your done!!! My boys are super excited to pass these out, they loved the VALEN-SLIME saying.
Thanks so much for stopping by friends! Hope you enjoyed this tutorial.

Halloween is seriously my favorite holiday!! I love the weather, the fall colors, candy, decorations, and most of all dressing up!! For the last 12 years my husband and I have dressed up to match. As we have had kids we have just incorporated them and we always, always go as a theme together!! If your looking for couple or family costume ideas, here are a couple of ours. Fred and Wilma Flinstone, Jack and Sally Skellington, Aladdin, jasmine and abo, Incredibles, ninja turtles, toy story, star wars, hotel transylvania, just to name a few. I will have to dedicate a whole post just for our halloween costumes!! This year we are adding How to Train a Dragon in the mix!!! I have been so excited for this years costumes! I typically don’t make our costumes. I have done parts here and there but I couldn’t help myself when the kids suggested this theme. All the leather studded accents looked like so much fun to make. I was sooo excited to give the new Cricut knife blade a try on my Cricut Maker Machine.

Happy summer everyone!!! Today I am going to be sharing with you a tutorial for this darling Clutch bag with strap! The Cricut Maker has so many possibilities and one of them is cutting fabric! Which is so awesome because who likes to cut out all the pattern pieces when making a project? Not me!! Cricut has teamed up with Simplicity and they now have hundreds of patterns that have been digitized for the Cricut Maker!! In the Past when sewing a project there were so many steps before you even would get to the fun sewing part. Cut the pattern out, pin onto fabric, cut out fabric, un pin everything and then try and get it to all fit back into the envelope. Cricut and Simplicity have cut all those steps out for you by creating ready to make projects. Simplicity has digitized their patterns to work with the Cricut Maker so it will now cut and mark all your fabric with the pattern markings and notches! This will create fabric pieces that will fit together perfectly. This is the future of sewing. YOu can now teach your children to sew at a younger age since the cutting is not involved. If you had given up sewing due to not being abke to cut due to illness or injuries can now get back to sewing. If you have been intimidated just by looking at the pattern pieces on the floor, or if you have been wanting to make projects to sell in a larger quantity for your business, This partnership combo is for you!!! Take a look through all the fun projects are already ready to go for you in the Simplicity projects in Cricut Design Space. My baby just got potty trained so I thought it was time to downsize the diaper bag and have something smaller and this bag was perfect. Keep reading for a step-by-step tutorial and my tips that I would suggest for this cute bag!

Have you heard of the new SportFlex Iron-On material that Cricut just launched???? You guys it is soooo amazing! I am absolutely blown away at how great this new product is. The SportFlex Iron-On is created for use on nylon and polyester materials. Features the Cricut StrongBond™ Guarantee* ensuring you get a long lasting product!! It’s thin, flexible and very stretchy. In the past the stretchy material has been tricky to use the iron on with because it would end up cracking when stretched. This new product is designed to stretch with the material with no cracking!!! I put it to the test and created custom rash guards for my boys. Read on to see my review, how they held up when put to the test and get the FREE PROJECT LINK!!! …

I absolutely love a good Spinach Artichoke Dip. I offered to bring one to our annual New Year’s Eve party this year. I quickly realized that I had never actually made Spinach Artichoke dip! I used to buy the one at Costco that was really yummy but they don’t sell it anymore. I search around for some recipes. My husband hates onions so I needed a recipe without those and I don’t like mayonnaise in artichoke dip. I found a couple recipes but nothing exactly what I was looking for. I mixed a few together and adjusted some things and made this one up!! I added lots of artichokes to this recipe so you can really taste them. I also love how soft and creamy it is. It was a huge hit and everyone was asking for the recipe, so I wanted to share it with you all!!
Are your short on time? Need to make something quick? The Cricut Maker can fix that problem!! Customize almost anything in a matter of minutes!! I absolutely love my machine!!
