I love all the sayings, FIGHT, PINK POWER, FIGHT LIKE A GIRL, STRONGER, ect… These sayings are so powerful and strong. I have had several very influential people in my life affected by breast cancer. They fought long and hard. Some have now past and been freed from this terrible disease and others kicked cancers butt and are healthy and stronger than ever!!! I want to help support those affected by breast cancer this month so I made these shirts for my son and I to bring awareness to those around us. Keep reading to get the DIY tutorial.

Cricut SportFlex Iron-On- Fuchia
Cricut SportsFlex Iron-On- White
Shirts of your choice I got these ones at Target.
I wanted to make some workout so I used one of my favorite Cricut products, SportsFlex. Open Cricut Design Space. Search images for Breast Cancer Awareness. Look at all the amazing options that Cricut has designed!!! I seriously love them all! I loved the one that says, boys wear pink too! Thought it would be darling for my little boy! I chose the FIGHT one for my shirt.
BOYS WEAR PINK TOO SHIRT-
I had purchased a blue shirt for him and I wanted the letters to be white so I simply just selected the black letters and made them white.
Adjust your image to the size that you would like. I made this one for my son who is 5, 5 inches wide by 8.33 inches tall. Select make it when your ready. In the next window you will want to make sure and choose the “mirror image” button since you are using the Iron-On material. Select continue, choose your machine and material type.Using your Cricut Maker or any Cricut machine, load your mat. Make sure that you have put the material face down with the shiny liner down. Cut material when light flashes.
Heat up your EasyPress 2. The recommended settings for your material type can be found HERE
I was using polyester shirts and SportsFlex Iron-On so I plugged that in and I was given these settings. I LOVE how east Cricut has made it.
Now your ready to press!
Warm your material for 5 seconds. Place your design where you want it. This design will be done in 2 steps. First the pink then the white. When you have it placed where you want it, place a piece of parchment paper over the top to protect the shirt.
Using the EasyPress 2 ,Press for 30 seconds. Turn your shirt over and press for 15 seconds on the back. Place the white material where you want it and repeat the process above.
FIGHT SHIRT-
I had purchased a back shirt so like the other shirt i just adjusted the black letters to white. You can customize any of these design how you would like them. Resize to the size you want and click make it.
Follow the steps above, mirror image and choose SportsFlex Iron-On. Cut out your image. Like the shirts above this will be applied with the EasyPress 2 separately. First with the F ght. Place your image where you want it and then place a piece of parchment on top for protection and using your EasyPress 2 apply your white SportFlex Iron-On. heat 30 seconds on front flip over and heat for 15 seconds. You can see in the images below that there is the white protective sheet in between the shirt. I didn’t want the racer back part of the shirt to come through onto the vinyl and create a line so i put it in between.
Repeat the process for the ribbon and your done!!
These were so quick and easy to make!! If you have a race or just want to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness this month you can seriously make something so easy thanks to Cricut!!
