Open the Cricut Design space file above. Place the red, dark green, and black Infusible ink transfer sheets onto Cricut Cutting Mats. Cut each mat according to project set up.

Weed each sheet. On the black sheet, remove the leaves and berries that are black. I left those on the design intended to be removed and use the cut lines under as a guide to place the dark green leaves and the red berries onto the project.
Using your hand or some tweezers, transfer the leaves and berries onto the merry design so all your colors are on one sheet. You will only be pressing once so you need to transfer everything onto one sheet.
Prepare your mug by using a lint roller to remove any lint or dust from mug

Wrap the design around the mug and press firmly all the way around. Place into a pre-heated Cricut Mug press, the light should be green. Insert the mug into the chamber and close the lever on the top. Make sure as the door closes that your design area is completely covered.
The mug will press for about 6 minutes. There is a progress light bar at the top. The Cricut Mug Press will beep when done. Lift the lever and carefully remove the mug holding only the handle. Let cool on a mat or hot pad. Check that it’s cool to the touch.

Remove the wrap design. That’s it!! I absolutely love making custom mugs. They are such a great Christmas gift idea! Add some yummy items like hot chocolate, chocolate spoons, and peppermint suckers. I found all those items including the tin to put it all in at Target. The Cricut Mug Press makes it so simple and easy to use. You could also customize the project and add names or initials if you wanted. Repeat all the steps to make the JOYFUL mug.
