I just got the new Cricut Explore Air 2 machine. I have been wanting one of these amazing machines for some time now. This machine is so beautiful! and it came in my favorite color, mint green!! I am always seeing amazing projects and party decor, made with the Cricut. I decided, I could no longer live without one!! I have a Cricut Cake that I use for my cake making and I love it. I wanted to have this Cricut Explore Air 2 to take the rest of my party to the next level! I had the opportunity to try this machine out before getting one at a friends house. I was blown away at the ability and improvements that have been made! One of my favorite features is the bluetooth!! now you can create your project on your computer and send it to the machine. This allows you to have the space you need to let the machine cut your project, without having to be crowded and hooked up to the computer!!
The inside of the machine is so pretty! I love all the shiny chrome pieces! The custom dial on the right side allows you to easily choose which kind of material you are using. One of my biggest struggles using one of these machines before now, was the guessing game that went into choosing the pressure and depth of cutting different materials. This feature took out all that worry and saves you sooo much time! If the material you are using is not on the dial, you can turn it to custom and in Design Studio, you can choose a different material then those listed on the dial. On the front of the machine on the inside there are two small compartments, where you can store the Cricut tools to help you remove images from the mats.
These are the housing compartments. A is the housing for the Cricut markers!! This is an awesome feature of this machine! you can choose to have the machine write and draw with markers onto your project!! I cannot wait to give this a try!! B is the housing for the cutting tool. You don’t have to remove the cutting tool to use the markers. I am so excited to use my new machine. I have lots of project in mind. cupcake liners and toppers, invitations, party boxes, cake toppers, party banners and signs. The possibilities are endless and I am can’t wait to personalize all my projects with this amazing machine!! You can get yours HERE .
