Create a fun DIY lemonade stand using the Cricut Maker 3 Machine. The Cricut Maker 3 gives you the ability to create much longer cuts than the previous Cricut machines. Cricut has created Smart Materials for the Cricut Maker 3. This means you can cut mat-less and no longer have to apply the material onto a mat! This also mean longer cuts since you don’t have the restriction of the mat holding you back!! So many possibilities to create those larger projects you have been thinking about!! I have been so impressed with the new Cricut Maker 3 i am so excited for all the new features they are so awesome and helpful. I would 100% recommend getting the new Cricut Maker 3.
I have always loved creating large projects, but it took so much work to piece the sections together. Now we don’t have to do that thanks to the new smart material technology! I decided for my first project since it was so hot outside that I wanted to create a fun lemonade stand. I wanted lots of florals and a bohemian feel to it. I had way to much fun shopping for all the extras to decorate the table too. Check out your local craft stores for big sales and stock up on faux florals and greenery. I went to Joann Fabrics and Michaels craft store and all their spring & summer decor was on sale 70% off along with all the florals!!! I got so much fun stuff there for a great price.
I have several fun tutorials along with recipes included in this post. Learn how to build the frame stand and 3 projects using the Cricut Maker 3 continue reading to get all the details and step by step tutorials so you can make your own lemonade stand.

LEMONADE BANNER
Gather your materials. Use this link below to get the project in Cricut DS
Load the Yellow Permanent Vinyl into the Cricut Maker 3. The Cricut roll holder tray is options but really nice accessory. Cut the Lemonade Banner out. Weed The Yellow.

Remove middle of letters. Apply Transfer tape. Use the Scraper to attache the vinyl to the transfer tape.

Cut the pink removable vinyl. This image will include the words fresh and the names for the food labels. Weed all parts and apply transfer tape.

Cut your piece of white vinyl material to 11.5″ wide x 4 feet 2″ long. Lay out your cut yellow lemonade word vinyl and center on material. Measure both sides to make sure you have it centered. Place a long piece of tape or extra transfer tape down the center to hold your design in place. This is called the hinge method. We will apply one side of the word at a time to make sure it stays right where we want it. Peel the backing off one side. Fold over and cut off the backing. Carefully smooth the vinyl down in place.

Remove the tape you had down the center, remove backing from the other side and carefully smooth out the other side of the vinyl.

Use the scraper to attach vinyl in place. Carefully remove the transfer tape. Repeat the steps to apply the pink “FRESH” word to the banner.

Seriosuly!!! Soooo cute right!! Let’s add the Grommets so we can hang this banner up!
Using the grommet kit this makes it soo easy. Measure and mark where you want your grommets placed. I went in and down 1″ in both directions. Using the top of the grommet as a guide trance the hole to know where you need to cut.
Using the Cricut Knife tool carefully with a back and forth motion cut along your whole lines you drew.

Place the top into the hole that you cut. Flip material over.

Place the Base under to front of the grommet. Place the back with the spikes on it face down on the back of the material.

Place the stud end of setter into the barrel of grommet. Hammer forcefully. Now you have a beautiful finished hole. Thread rope or twine through hole.

DRINK LABELS AND FOOD LABELS

Cut out the pink removable vinyl, unless you already did that in the previous step for the lemonade banner. Weed and apply transfer tape. Remove backing and place onto tiny canvas.

Use the scraper to apply the vinyl onto the canvas. Repeat for all 3 signs.

Cut the yellow removable vinyl for the lemons. Weed the outside. Peel the lemon back and all the little centers will stay. You may get a few stragglers that you can get with the weeding tool. Apply to the jar in the center.

Cut strands of ribbon and yarn to add lots of texture and give your bottles that bohemian feel we were going for. Tie them around top of bottle.

Are you interested in making the wood frame? Thats our next step and its really fast if you on the fence!
WOOD FRAME

Materials needed-
4- 2x2x8 pieces of wood.
1 1.5x2x8 Piece of wood
Screws
Drill and saw
Honey Stain
Cut your pieces as follows:
2- 2×2 cut 77″ tall (SIDES)
1 -2×2 cut 55″ Long ( TOP)
1- 2×2 cut 52″ long ( MIDDLE BRACE)
1- 1.5×2 cut 2 pieces 21″ Long (FEET)
Place the top piece on top of the sides. Pre Dill into both and place screw. repeat on other top side. Stain top and sides and feet.

Using an old rag and wearing gloves, barley dip into stain and rub onto the wood covering all sides. This takes 2 seconds and dries in minutes.

Attach the fee by screwing through the bottom and centering the sides on the feet. Add Middle brace 2 feet up to help give more support.
DONE!! Wasn’t that so easy? I want to make a few more to use for all differant tables and even table top ones.
For the Florals on the stand I laid several strands together. Bent the stems back and zip tied them all together. Full and spread out the branches to make it look full then you can just hand it on the corners of the stand and add in a fee greenery pieces to fill it in. Made it super easy!!
