Winter is here to stay! I hate how cold it is but I’m choosing to embrace it, haha. I love to switch decor out around every holiday and winter is no exception. After Christmas is over, I recycle some of the items to convert it to a clean winter feel with simple greenery. These trees I found on KSL for $5 each but you can also find them HERE. *TIP right before and right after Christmas, people are cleaning out storage rooms and always post these types of items for sale on your local yard sale sites or in local classified ads!

MATERIALS NEEDED
MATERIALS NEEDED:
Greenery of choice (i got mine at Taiwan Imports )
1-large flocked stick (NOT PICTURED sorry!! )
Acorn embellishments ( Target holiday section)
Hot glue gun and glue
Giant metal hoop ring (I got mine at HOBBY LOBBY in the craft section)
I love how simple, yet beautiful this wreath is. The base of the wreath is a giant hoop ring that I found at Hobby Lobby for $3.99 in the craft section of the store. I wanted something that was flocked to give it that real Winter feel. I visited Taiwan Imports, a whole sale decor store here in Midvale , UT. They have a huge variety of all things greenery, Christmas, ect.. I could spend an entire day there! I got 2 large and 3 medium green stems and then 1 large flocked branch. Using the floral wire, attach your greenery to your hoop one piece at a time.Layer your next piece on top until you have all the greenery attached how you want . I chose to have the Greenery only on half of the hoop.
Attach the acorns, or any other embellishment that you want, into the center where your sticks all come together. I actually did mine just off center to the left. Hot glue a couple of left over small leaves behind, just to finish it off.
Switching out your door mat is another way to change it up a bit. I like to have different ones for each holiday and then an everyday one like this HELLO one.
I have made this wreath also with some floating faux leather snowflakes you can also make it this way! Check that post out HERE !! I used faux leather but ironed on glitter iron-on onto the back so they were double sided! Super fun project.
