Today I’m sharing my top 5 Cricut Maker projects. The Cricut Maker machine has so much versatility and with the adaptive tool system, the Cricut Maker makes the possibilities endless. The Cricut Maker makes the list of materials go on and on. Leather, felt, fabric, chipboard, even wood. The Cricut Maker Machine will transform the way you craft giving you a wide variety of thicker, dense material options to be able to use.
I’m Sharing some of my favorite projects that the Cricut Maker made possible. I’ll go through what special Cricut Maker tools I used and why I needed the maker for them all.

1.DIY LEATHER EARRINGS–
These Leather earrings were made with real genuine leather. I used the Knife blade, debossing, and engraving tools to complete these projects! I could not have done this on any other machine!! The Knife Blade cut the outside shapes of the leather. The Floral design was created using the engraving tool which is part of the QuickSwap Tool family. I then used leather dye to paint over the engraved area and it made the design pop right out. The larger, patterned earrings were created using the Debossing Tool. The Debossing tool imprinted the design into the leather giving it a nice textured look! I then brushed some leather dye over the raised areas to define it more. I absolutely love these earrings and get so many compliments! I will be making more designs for sure!!!

2. DIY DOOR WREATH–
This St. Patricks Day door wreath was such a fun project! Using the Cricut Maker and the Knife Blade, I was able to cut 2.0mm Heavy Chipboard. This thick, dense material could not have been cut with any other Cricut Machine. I protected the Heavy Chipboard from the elements of being outside by adding some gold foil vinyl onto the top. I then was able to cut out the design of the shamrock and place it onto the wreath! I love how shiny it is and how it stands out from other decor I have seen. This is a project that you could really customize for every holiday throughout the year!

The fine point blade for iron on material. I was able to customize these entire costumes with different textures and materials to make them stand out and be so realistic! I never could have made these without the Cricut Maker Machine.

4. DIY CLUTCH BAG
This darling bag was one of my first sewing project that I did with the Cricut Maker. Did you know that there are tons of patterns in Cricut Design Space? The patterns are design with cut and stitching lines that are marked with the Cricut Maker Washable Fabric Pen!! Yes, you heard that right! There is a Washable Fabric pen that the Cricut Maker uses to draw onto your fabric to make all the patterns markings right there on your fabric. The Cricut Maker uses the Rotary Blade to easily cut the fabric without having to use a stabilizer on the back of the fabric. The Cricut Maker Machine and these awesome sewing patterns take all the time out of cutting and marking and lets you just do the fun sewing part!! I used a heavy herringbone fabric and leather that I got int the home decor section of my local fabric store. This Project came together so quick and the Cricut Maker made it possible.

5. DIY HOLIDAY PORCH DECOR
Create Custom outdoor decor with the Cricut Maker. The projects in the post were able to stay outside in the winter and lasted great. The Cricut Maker made it possible to cut out these darling trees out of felt with ease! It literally cut through the felt with the Rotary Blade like butter. Creating perfect trees that I created this 3D tree pillow from. The other projects in this post use iron on material for a pillow and also a wood sign. Typically vinyl will not stay on wood very well outside for very long. In this tutorial i will show you how to use Cricut Glitter Iron-On and adhere it into the wood! I love being able to use a variety of materials to give texture and depth to my projects. The Cricut Maker allows me to create literally anything I want.
